A-List Lace Hair wigs are made completely by hand with experienced lace wigmakers securing one to two hair strands at a time to the lace wig base. It is therefore quite a time consuming and intricate process. Most of our lace wigs are custom-made but we do keep a vast range of medium sized lace wig caps with ear to ear stretch in stock to fit most, with the option to buy and fit immediately at our Kensington Studio in London. Not all our instock full lace wigs are pictured below. Please call if you require a full lace wig that is not shown below.

Ultra Hold is probably one of the strongest of the acrylic adhesives for securing your full lace wig or lace front. You can achieve 3-6 weeks hold from one application. It comes in a glass bottle with applicator brush in the cap. If you are an active person or find you perspire a lot, then this adhesive will be most suitable.
Application:
1. Make sure the perimeter or scalp is cleaned thoroughly, preferably with medical grade alcohol before application.
2. Apply scalp protector and let dry.
3. Apply a thin coat of Ultra Hold to the area and leave to become tacky (10 minutes). You may find that using a cotton bud or thin artist brush will provide more control when applying adhesive. Dependant on intended usage one or two additional thin coats may be applied. Wait until tacky before applying the lace hair system.
4. Avoid wetting the area for 48 hours.
C-22 Adhesive Remover. As well as removing adhesive or tape residue from your skin. C-22 is a gentle cleaner for scalp full lace wigs and hair systems. It acts fast on most tapes and soft bonds, but is very gentle on the skin. It easily rinses off with soap and water.
DIRECTIONS: Spray on adhesive area. Reaction time is as little as 1 minute depending on adhesive build up. Wipe or brush off residue. Shampoo and rinse.
This is an absolute favourite as it is a highly effective product
Scalp Protector. This product Improves Adhesion for: Hot and Humid Weather, Oily Skin and Swimming. It also Prevents irritation from Tape and Adhesives and is designed for Protecting your scalp making your experience of wearing a full lace wig or lace unit comfortable and enjoyable, and more durable.
The lace unit system will not release from the effects of water, heat or perspiration.
C-22 Adhesive Remover greatly reduces the chance of damaging the lace wig by easily releasing the adhesive or tape from the lace hair system. Used properly, most of the adhesive residue will remain on your scalp, not on the lace hair system. |
